Wedding Receptions

Dave understands that he is helping his clients plan one of the most important events of their lives. From the first note of music played when their guests start arriving until the Bride and Groom’s last “tribute” dance at the end of the reception, Dave will help his clients plan and create the ultimate wedding reception and ensure that each and every detail is masterfully accomplished.

Dave provides his clients with their own customized and complete package of services. Each package includes the appropriate sound equipment and music library for the size of the venue and the musical tastes of the entire group in attendance. It includes planning the entire “personalized” reception in detail from start to finish and creating a timeline to match. It includes identifying all planned announcements and Master of Ceremony responsibilities that occur throughout the reception. And finally, it includes identifying the full range of other “special” music needed for the reception. (See last 3 paragraphs below for specific examples.)

When meeting with his clients, Dave offers specific guidelines and other planning tools and is very organized in his approach to discussing all of the details of the reception. He listens very carefully to his clients while offering more than 35 years of experience and more than 1200 wedding receptions to his credit. At the end of Dave’s comprehensive planning process, his clients are free to fully enjoy their reception with friends and family and to be completely confident that Dave will successfully handle all of their needs and desires.

Finally, the importance and attention given to the selection of other “special” music for the reception cannot be underestimated. Beginning with the background music to be used during the early stages of the reception and meal, Dave always gives his clients the opportunity to select the style of music and to request any favorites to be played.

The Grand Entrance music can really set the tone for the entire reception. Dave encourages his clients to give serious thought to the selection of music to be used for possible introductions of the parents, the entire wedding party including the flower girl(s) and ring bearer(s), and of course, the Bride and Groom. Dave provides his clients with a sampler of Grand Entrance music to help stimulate their creativity, and he really encourages them to “think outside of the box.” Over the years, Dave has done some incredibly creative things in selecting the Grand Entrance music with his clients.

The final component of other “special” music deals with selecting the Bride & Groom’s First Dance, the Wedding Party Dance, the Father/Daughter & Mother/Son Dances, the Cake Cutting Music, the Money Dance, the Bouquet & Garter Toss Music, and any other special dedication dances including the Bride & Groom’s last Dance at the end of the reception. In addition, Dave will gladly gather and include any general dance music requests from his clients and/or their families. He also takes requests from the guests during the reception. If his clients are real music lovers and want to more actively participate in this “special” music selection, Dave has the library and resources to support them.
